Objective. Efficient. Suitable for everyday use.

Neurological gait analysis in just 5 minutes – without a gait lab

Orthelligent® VISION provides you with a validated tool that allows you to analyze gait disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or after a stroke in a differentiated, reproducible manner and under everyday conditions—right in your practice or clinic.

Your challenge: accurately recording and thoroughly assessing gait disorders
Gait disorders are among the most common functional limitations in neurological care. Orthelligent® VISION supports you in this:

  • Standardized gait analysis with valid parameters such as gait speed, double support phase, step variance, or shoulder tilt
  • Objective database for progress monitoring and treatment management
  • Efficient integration into your daily practice – no gait lab required, right on site
  • Well-founded basis for decision-making to assess disease progression and response to medication

Use objective gait data for your neurological expertise – simple, fast, and evidence-based.

Your benefits at a glance

The app helps you accurately assess movements, misalignments, or poor posture in a matter of minutes based on precise data.

Complete gait analysis in less than 5 minutes – no additional staff or special room required. Can be easily integrated into clinic and practice workflows.

Stride length, walking speed, symmetry, fluctuations—all parameters are recorded automatically. Standardized reports for progress monitoring and quality assurance.

Recognize unstable gait patterns before something happens—for better prevention and greater safety.

Immediately shows whether medications or therapies are working—including progress monitoring for Parkinson’s medications, for example.

Progress made visible: Patients see what is improving—and remain more motivated

App – Live on Stage

Gait analysis in just three steps

1 – Measurement
First, a person’s movement sequence is recorded on video using the tablet camera – without the use of optical markers.

2 – Analysis
The video is then securely uploaded to our cloud so that the joint points can be calculated precisely.

3 – Evaluation
The analysis is performed using the calculated joint points and our specially developed algorithms, which provide a detailed evaluation.

Examples of use

Parkinson’s disease

Recognize subtle changes in gait, such as small steps or freezing of gait, at an early stage. Orthelligent® VISION helps to objectively assess the effects of medication and optimize the timing of therapies (exercise training, medication). This enables you to make more confident decisions when it comes to Parkinson’s disease.

Multiple sclerosis

Track the walking ability of your MS patients over several months. AI analysis detects even minimal deterioration in gait patterns—before it becomes clinically apparent. Ideal for quantifying the effects of fatigue or the success of interventions (e.g., walking training, new medication).

Neuro-rehabilitation (e.g., after a stroke)

Document objective progress from the first attempt to stand to discharge. Orthelligent® VISION measures step lengths, speeds, and standing phases. This makes therapy successes transparent for rehabilitation physicians, therapists, patients, and cost bearers. You can justify adjustments to the rehabilitation plan (such as intensifying gait training or prescribing an orthosis) based on data.

Orthelligent® VISION detects initial contact and toe-off events with 99% accuracy.

Gait event detection, 100% IC rate, 98.7% toe-off, MAE: 3–15 ms
