Learning content

The basics of walking
The anatomical and biomechanical basics of walking as well as the analysis of the gait cycle and the forces acting on it serve the goal of understanding the basics and phases of walking.
Gait parameters and joint angle
The measurement of stride length, stride frequency and ground contact time as well as practical examples of the application of the measurement methods are aimed at enabling their learning and practical use.
Introduction to gait analysis with Orthelligent® VISION
The use of the Orthelligent® VISION system for gait analysis as well as the performance and interpretation of the analyses to derive therapeutic measures serve the goal of achieving safe handling of the Orthelligent® VISION gait analysis system.
Interactive evaluation of a gait analysis
The aim of recognising and analysing common gait disorders and abnormalities, such as gonarthrosis, spastic gait or Trendelenburg gait, and deriving individual therapy approaches based on the analyses is to be able to diagnose abnormalities in the gait pattern and plan therapies
